Former presidential candidate and U.S. senator John McCain arrived to Cartagena as guest of the Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa. The purpose of the visit of the Republican politician is to meet with President Juan Manuel Santos to promote the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Colombia, a country that he considers as one of his main allies.
McCain will be a few days in Cartagena, which he described in an interview with The W, ”One of the most beautiful cities in the world”.
