International Literature Festival in Cartagena

Every January, the written word in all its forms takes over Cartagena with “Hay festival”, one of the most important literature festivals in the continent.

This year, between January 28th and the 31st, the city that has inspired some of the greatest work of Nobel Prize-winner Gabriel García Marquez, will be offering seminars, shows and conferences hosted by the more than 80 guests invited to attend the festival. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a concert by Manu Dibango, a renowned saxophonist from Cameroon who blends traditional music from his native country with Western rhythms such as jazz and funk.

Entre ek 28 t el 31 de enero Cartagena se vestirá de luz y de letras  para vibrar con narraciones maravillosas, novelas emocionantes y poemas estremecedores que brotan de la tinta de escritores inspirados en la vida. La ciudad amurallada respira cultura y belleza y da espacio para el Hay festival”, uno de los festivales literarios de mayor magnitud en Colombia.

A partir del 28 hasta el 31 de enero, los turistas estarán inmersos en obras teatrales, exposiciones, talleres y conferencias. Además, contarán con la compañía de más de 80 invitados al evento y disfrutarán del concierto de Manu Dibango, saxofonista camerunés, que trae una fusión de la música típica de su país con ritmos como el jazz y el funk.
